This image wasn't a lucky snap; it was a mission, a proper mission! It took three separate 2-day overnight camping trips, battling mud, sweat, and freezing temperatures, to finally capture this scene.

Taken from high up on the slopes of Pen yr Ole Wen on a bitterly cold night in January 2023, this shot captures the mighty Tryfan rising into the cool night sky, coated in winter snow. "
