With love to nature

Hello, my name is Lucy,

I love hiking and wild camping, and I also love painting. So, I decided to paint my memories. Each canvas has its own story, emotions, joy, love, and even moments of weakness. All are captured in that spectacular moment and place.

Each canvas holds more than just an image—it holds a memory, a piece of life itself.

MY STORY

I have loved drawing, painting, and crafting since I was a child. I attended after-school art and pottery lessons for several years, and after finishing primary school, I considered continuing with art at a conservatory. But life took a different path, and I hung my paintbrush on the wall.

Although I studied photography at university and remained connected to art, I never painted on canvas—until many years later, when a friend inspired me to join a painting competition here in the UK. That’s when I created my first large canvas, Enlightenment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I tried to rediscover myself through painting. Using expired makeup, I created a self-portrait series. At that time, I often dreamed of traveling—and soon, those dreams became reality. I started traveling, capturing moments through photography and filmmaking. Initially, I wanted to print some of my pictures, but instead, I decided to paint my memories. While painting, I felt like I was reliving each moment over and over again.

In early 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which influenced my decision to become a full-time artist. However, I didn’t let it stop me from traveling and finding inspiration on my journeys. In fact, I embarked on some of my most challenging adventures during my cancer treatment.

Each canvas represents a real place, carrying a story from my films—my struggles, joys, and emotions. And now, here is my little online shop, filled with my memories.

I am not a formally trained artist, I haven’t won any competitions, and my art isn’t famous (yet! :)), but my dream is to bring a piece of what I feel when I’m in nature into your home. I offer original paintings at a price that reflects the time and effort put into them, as well as high-quality prints—so even if the original is sold, you can still have a canvas you love at a more affordable price.

Take a look around! If you're interested in the story behind each canvas, please visit my channel, or feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by, and I wish you a wonderful day.

I work with a local family-run business to print my artwork, trusting their experience and careful approach to each canvas. Colours may differ slightly from the original, as it’s difficult to replicate the exact shades I mixed at the time.

I use different techniques in my artwork, but most of the time, I paint with oil. Some of my older pieces were created using expired makeup, making them truly unique, while others were done with acrylic paint. Please keep in mind that my skills continue to improve over time, so older canvases may look different—that's what makes handmade art so special.

I don’t repaint other artists' work, but if you’d like, you can visit my Instagram (@Lucy_Orangina) to browse some of my travel photos for inspiration. Or simply share your ideas with me—whether it’s a mandala, a spiritual piece, or something straight from your imagination. I’ll do my best to bring your vision to life!

Shipping & Returns

Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. I use Royal Mail's tracked service, and each product is personally packed and shipped by me from my local post office.

For prints, once you place your order, it takes a few days to process before shipping. Please note that printed colours may vary slightly from the original painting.

For custom painting orders, delivery time depends on the size, technique, and complexity of the artwork. I will confirm the estimated delivery time after we discuss the details via email. Since all my paintings are handmade, each one is unique, and I will never be able to create two identical pieces.

If you need to return or exchange an item, I’m happy to assist you. Just send me an email, and I will provide return instructions and the shipping address.

As I manage this shop myself and often travel, delivery times may occasionally be longer. However, you will be informed in advance via email, a note on my website, or social media.
